Winter is here with pretty snowflakes and pure white snow. And Valentine’s Day is just around the corner which makes us start thinking about decorating for this day of love! Here is a fun Valentine centerpiece and some easy-to-make snowflake cookies! Happy Winter!

Two glass vases—one smaller that fits inside the other one

Tulips or other bloom
What you do:
Place the smaller vase inside the larger one. Fill the space in between with candy hearts. Add water to the inside vase and add the blooms. Set the centerpiece on the table with a doily underneath.

Recipe of the Month
Sparkling Sandwich Cookies
What you need:
Purchased white frosting in a tube
Purchased white chocolate covered cookies (such as oreos)
White edible flat sugar or coarse white sugar (available from Maid of Scandinavia by Sweet Celebrations 800-328-6722)
What you do:
Using the purchased frosting, pipe a snowflake shape on the top of a cookie. To make the snowflake, first make a cross. Next draw an x over the cross. Make short lines at the end of each main line as well as half way through each line. Dust with edible glitter. Let dry.
